In addition to PVD coating services, we design and manufacture masking systems, PVD planets, part holders, and carrier fixtures used in these processes. Especially in partial coating applications, we develop custom equipment to define the coating area accurately and position the part correctly during the process.

Masking Systems

Masking systems play a critical role in the PVD metallization process of automotive parts. We prepare custom masking solutions to prevent unwanted coating and to define coating areas in a controlled way.

Developed according to part geometry, coating area, surface sensitivity, and process repeatability requirements, our masking systems contribute to a more controlled coating process.

We manufacture PVD planets, masks, holders, and carrier fixture solutions suitable for different part geometries and process requirements. Each piece of equipment is evaluated according to the part it will be used for and the conditions of the coating process.

We develop customized solutions according to our customers’ requirements. After evaluating part information, coating areas, masking requirements, and process conditions, we plan the appropriate equipment design, manufacturing, and coating process.
